I am very much looking forward to moderating the session Surgery from a gender perspective: New findings in general and visceral surgery. The presentations offer current insights into sex-specific differences in liver, pancreatic and endocrine tumours as well as in bariatric surgery - topics that are becoming increasingly important for differentiated and patient-oriented surgical care.
