The influence of sex and gender on surgical outcomes is becoming increasingly significant.

This symposium is dedicated to the question of how gender-specific aspects affect clinical outcomes. The focus is on both biological differences and lifestyle factors that significantly shape the development of diseases and the choice of appropriate surgical procedures.

The goal of the conference is to promote an interdisciplinary exchange between surgeons, scientists, and experts from the healthcare sector.

By placing greater emphasis on gender-specific characteristics, we aim to further develop surgical practice and encourage sustainable collaboration between disciplines.

Take this unique opportunity to exchange ideas with leading experts and jointly shape the future of surgery in the context of sex and gender!
